1961 |
A.G.A. Transport company was
started in 1961 by
Mr.A.G. Auby.
He started
with two Toyota Dyna’s, with which he worked for
the J.H.B. City Council over the years. His
business grew to 15 vehicles all working for the
J.H.B council. |

1980 |
In 1980 we decided to go into
another line of transport which was park homes.
We purchased our first horse, truck & low bed
trailer. One of our first customers was at the
time, Zozo & Readybuild.
As time went on, we purchased an additional 4
trucks. |

1984 |
In 1984 the business was taken
over by George Auby’s son
Athol and his eldest
daughter
Nadia. With their vision, they purchased
another four vehicles and acquired several new
clients. |

1990 |
Unfortunately in 1990, Athol passed away in a
motor vehicle accident.
George was now retired and did not want to go
back into the business. His youngest son Warwick was
brought in and together with his sister Nadia left to
run the business. |

1993 |
In 1993 Nadia
emigrated to the U.S. By this time AGA Transport
had stopped working for the council and had sold
all the
smaller vehicles managed by Warwick. AGA
Transport concentrated purely on the parkhome
industry. The fleet grew bigger over the
years and transporting Park homes became the
specialty. AGA Transport has been involved with many
Factories and construction companies over the
years |

2006 |
In 2006 the owner and founder of
the business
Mr.A.G. Auby
passed away. The
business is still solely owned by his son
Warwick and with his wife Claudia they
manage the business together. |

2011 |
A YEAR OF
